To commemorate Chen Yun, 23 memorial sites have been established in 13 provinces and municipalities including Beijing, Guizhou, Shaanxi, Xinjiang, Sichuan, Jiangxi, Heilongjiang and Zhejiang.

Headed by Chen Yun’s daughter Chen Weihua, the Annual Meeting on Coordinated Development of Chen Yun Memorial Sites was founded in 2007 under the sponsorship of Chen Yun Memorial. The annual meeting aims to discover historical materials about Chen Yun, integrate, protect and utilize the resources of Chen Yun memorials in the country, advance the publicity and research of Chen Yun’s feats and thoughts, and also enhance the exchange and cooperation between those memorial sites and facilitate their sustainable development. The first session of the annual meeting was held in 2007 in Shanghai, and the second, third and fourth ones were respectively held in 2009 in Changchun, Jilin Province, in 2011 in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, and in 2013 in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. The annual meetings have driven the construction and development of Chen Yun memorial sites, contributed to information exchanges, and enhanced cooperation.
